Obituary for James Ronald Warren

James R.(Jacqueline) Warren ago 70, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL. departed this life on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm. He earned a B.S. in Business and later earned a Master's Degree in counseling from Alabama State University. He was employed as a substance abuse Therapist with the Salvation Army and later with Catholic Social Services where he retired. He was a faithful soldier for the Lord. James was a faithful member of the Delaware Street Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. James is preceded in death by his mother Helen Warren. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 30 years Jacqueline (Kimbrough )Warren. One son Jamani (Renee)Warren and one daughter Kynchasa Warren, One step daughter Pamela Kimbrough; One grandson Quinten Kimbrough; Two brothers Calvin (Deborah) Brinkley and Julius (Cynthia) Pugh ; one devoted sister Barbara (Dr. Charles) Blackledge; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
His remains will lie in state for viewing Friday April 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Smalls Mortuary Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at Delaware Street Missionary Baptist Church 701 South Lawrence Street Mobile, AL. Officiate Reverend Cornelius Coleman Jr. Repass will be held immediately after funeral hour.
